muscles but no
bones, legs on
which not to stand.
An octopus can hold onto anything
and grapple the dark of deep water big as space.

Octopi, octopuses, octopodes. I went on an octopus kick recently, deciding on it for the base form of an original character named Amoebos. At first I found them incredibly difficult to draw. After some study I discovered that they are rhythm itself - or then the next thing to it. Congratulations. It takes a lot of sensitivity to inhabit something as alien to human beings as the octopus.
